Recomended Villa Lanzarote

Hi Mike,

I just wanted to send an email to say a big thank you for letting us hire your beautiful Villa Coco.

It was everything a family of 10 could have asked for and more .

On arrival the kids were all running about the huge space while the adults were mouths wide open saying 'WOW this is perfect, and look there are beers and wine cold in the fridge' -a very welcome surprise after 4 hours on the plane with very excited children!

The pool was a huge hit as it was heated and the kids could spend so much time in it without getting cold, I was so glad about the safety gates as it meant I didn't constantly worry that my 1 and 3 year old were going to take a dip on their own!

We did a couple of bbq's and the ample kitchen was great for us as we did cook in a fair bit too.

The decor and furnishings were done to an outstanding level really spot on, and we really didnt want to come home.

I will not be hesitant in telling all my clients about your villa, as us hairdressers do like to talk about holidays, and they were all curious as we were such a big group !

So just to say thanks again for everything , I am sure we will return too.

Just a quick note to let you know we had a wonderful holiday and enjoyed your villa very much indeed. The facilities for young children are perfect with the gated patio area and we will hopefully be in touch for a repeat trip next year.

Just a quick to thank you for renting us your villa last week. We had a great time and as predicted your villa was perfect for a break with our young children. The villa was of an exceptional standard, very spacious, comfortable beds and our every need catered for including the draw of toys and mandatory inflatables for the pool. The villa information pack, directions and arrival pack were all very useful and welcome. We also rent a property through ownersdirect ref w11. We have started discussing next year and could well be contacting you about the possibility of a week either side of autumn half term if available.

Your villa exceeded our expectations and we all had a brilliant time. The facilities were excellent and we made good use of the bbq area but the pool was the biggest hit with all.

Many thanks for the weather - you did well!! Opinion is that we would like to return in the near future.Once again thanks we had a really good family holiday.

Well Mike what can I say? Your villa is fantastic and we have just had one of the most memorable holidays of our lives.

Everything worked really well with my groups of people and all the comings and goings put different dynamics on the holiday so Norman and I had about 5 different holidays rolled into one.

We did not need a car and found the position of the villa superb for exploring Playa Blanca. We did loads of walking and the mountain at our doorstep almost was good exercise! We did not explore the island as much as we thought we would. The villa was so gorgeous we did not want to go out. However, we did the volcano trip and this was worth while and so interesting. We did a deal with a taxi driver !. The taxi rank and the local little supermarket were a bonus as they are so near the villa. As you said the taxis are so cheap.

Liz Glynn and Joyce were great and extremely helpful. Liz and Glynn recommended Hyper Dino in town for shopping and we normally walked there and then ordered a taxi back from the supermarket information desk so that was great. The fruit shop next door was brilliant too. I am glad I arranged the extra cleaning and bed changes and felt it was well worth the additional cost. It just added a little bit more luxury to a luxurious villa.

We had about 4 barbecues at the villa and ate many lunches on the terrace with our many bottles of champagne.

I have to say all your restaurant recommendations were good and we found that actually all the food out was of a pretty good standard. We loved the tapas bar at the end of the town beach.

The beach near the villa, Flamingo beach, is idyllic for kids and Nicola and Tony went there every day with Charley. However like Norman and I and all our guests, they loved your pool which is a superb size for a private villa. I loved the Dorada beach, as I love to swim in the sea so we had a day on sun beds on the beach. We were extremely lucky with the weather and had mainly sunny days. When it is cloudy in the morning it seems to blow over very quickly which is great. It is a bit windy in Lanzarote but actually I loved that as it makes the heat more bearable.

We managed to leave by 10am on our final day- just!. We spent the day at the Princess Yaiza, leaving our luggage with concierge. We had a most amazing meal at the Don Giovani restaurant and they did a huge fresh cream and fruit cake complimentary which was unexpected.

Mike we were privileged to rent the villa and thank-you for all your help in advance with my planning which made for such a smooth and organized holiday.

I am sure we shall speak to you later this week but wanted to send you a big thank you. Do feel free to put this on your website. I have asked my guests to do their own reviews too.

Do I have any complaints- no. However, I am an obsessive cleaner and I wanted to keep the villa spic and span so I was re- named “molly mopper” by the end of the holiday.

The fixtures, fittings and equipment in the villa were also of a very high standard and out -weighed our expectations. It takes a lot to satisfy adults, a teenager and young children all in one go, but the villa had something for us all.

 

The area is very peaceful and perfect for unwinding, with the lovely marina area just a short drive away, however no real need to leave the villa as you have everything you need, superb accommodation, pool, BBQ and lots more. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday, and are very much looking forward to returning next year.

Hi Mike,

We just want to say our stay at Villa Coco was absolutely fantastic, the villa exceeded our expectations by far, giving us a home from home whilst we were on holiday. The standard of the facilities was everything that was promised on the website and more and taking a 3 month old baby was no trouble with the cot and high chair on hand! The location was well placed to allow us give our 4 year old some much needed exercise and although we hired a car we only used it once or twice during the week as walking in to Playa Blanca was no trouble and we even walked to the Marina twice!

The weather was no issue, and I would say with a small baby the overcast sky probably suited us more.

All in all Mike thanks for a great time in the villa and if we return to Playa Blanca I will be back on the phone.

I have been meaning to e-mail to let you know that we had a fantastic time in your Villa. I cannot think of anything it was lacking, it is a beautiful villa in a beautiful setting.

The information pack you sent was brilliant and everything happened as it should with no problems whatsoever.

Unfortunately we did not have the best of weather, apparently the worst in 7 years. So we did have quite a bit of rain, lots of cloud and a little chilly some days in a very gusty wind. However, this did not hamper our holiday at all.

Thank you so much for letting us stay in your villa. Playa Blanca is the perfect place to stay. We did explore the island, which we found surprisingly smaller than we thought, and felt that Playa Blanca was definately the best resort.

 I have added your villa to my favourites and shall keep your e-mail address for the future as I would love to stay at your villa again

I am writing to thank you so much for the wonderful holiday that we enjoyed at your wonderful villa. We were so delighted to see that Villa Coco is just as beautiful in reality as it looks on the web site.

The lady who manages the villa really helped our holiday go smoothly. The welcome groceries were a lovely touch and very much appreciated.

Thank you to your daughter for allowing us to use her villa on the last day. It was great to have somewhere to store our luggage and get changed before the late flight home. A very kind gesture, thank you.

I will certainly be recommending your villa very highly. This was our first holiday abroad with the children and we are thrilled we picked such a memorable choice.

I just had to write and thank you for the most wonderful holiday. We absolutely love the Villa it is beautiful. From the moment we arrived and saw your lovely welcome pack and the much appreciated groceries we were smitten.

We had a fantastic time thanks to your lovely hospitality and the beautiful decor. The children were spoilt for choice will all the CD's and Videos available - that's when they were finally out of the pool!

We really did not want to leave the Villa, the holiday went far too quickly, the Veranda is one of our favourite parts of the Villa as it provides welcome shade and a lovely relaxing area when using the BBQ of an evening.

We have highly recommended Villa CoCo to our family and friends and can't wait to come back in April.
