There are many beautiful beaches in Playa Blanca (white beach)all with pale sand and clear seas.

Playa Flamingo is perfect small children as very shallow and no waves. and in a secluded bay, it also has shops and restaurants and sunbed hire.

Dorada beach also is very calm sea and it has water sports and sunbed hire. There are two great beach bars with a number of shops and restaurants behind it.
You really can spend a whole day there!
There is also a small beach in the centre of Playa Blanca which many use in the evenings surrounded by the hustle and bustle of the bars shops and restaurants and bars.
Then there is the famous Papagayo Beach this area is part of the National Park and is protected. You can drive or get a water taxi. But it has limited services there.

Playa Blanca is also now famous for its beautiful Marina.
is a beautiful fairly new development which has been created in a magnificent setting.
Whether you like to people watch, boat and fish watch, or enjoy great food and bars with a mixture of designer and local shopping, then this is the place. There are also many boat trips.

If you are ore adventurous and you enjoy scuba diving the Atlantic Museum is located only 300 meters away. There are speedboats, Diving, Paracraft, Ocean rides, Rubicon Fishing, boats too Papagayo, segways and much much more......and believe it or not tennis!

If you prefer shopping at local markets then you will enjoy the Marina Rubicon Market which is held every Wednesday and Saturday mornings, they have many
stores of a mix of local and international ware.
